draw from hell for Djokovic. DP in QF, Murray in SF, Rafa/Fed in F. maybe it's a good thing.

The thing with Jerzy now seems to be a recurring arm issue since Wimbledon. What's up with that?

Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2

I don't know. He still win some matches even he served just 50% 1st serve in and had bunch of double faults.

There's a bunch of crap in Jerzy's section. Attention, Jack Sock!

Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2

Jack Sock played well last year at US open. They never play against each other. It will be interesting to see.
I guess they will be separated by serving.  :rofl_2: :gleam:

Quote
(From 2012 article)
What is far from fashionable is for an American junior to go abroad to train and develop their game. That, however, is just the approach that Jared Donaldson is taking to improve his chances for a future in the pros.

The 15-year-old hails from Rhode Island -- a state not really known for developing champion tennis players, although the elegant International Tennis Hall of Fame is headquartered in the Atlantic Coastal resort town of Newport. Donaldson, from Chepachet, a small town on the Connecticut border, realized that cold weather and indoor tennis was not going to enhance his tennis chances, so he now primarily lives in Buenos Aires.

Anyone have any thoughts on the draws and which players got the best deals?

I think it was a very fair draw.
Murray got an easy passage to the QF but a VERY tough QF opponent in Berdych.
Djokovic got an easy passage to the QF (unless you think Dimitrov is ready) but a tough QF opponent in Del Potro.
Nadal got the toughest R4 (Isner), toughest QF (Federer), but he also got the easiest SF.

“It is not too far way,” Toni Nadal told The Australian after Nadal collected the 13th major of his career by mowing down Novak Djokovic in an electrifying final of the US Open. “It is getting very, very close for Rafa to be level with Roger or more.”

I'll say this much about Ryan Harrison. That kid never gets an easy 1R or 2R draw. :laugh-bounce:

He's lost six times to top-8 players since 2011.....twice to Djokovic, once to Murray. Also Ferrer, once. He's got to be one of the youngest Americans to play the entire (current) top-4 in slams.

I'm still watching the qualifying.  I like Duval's game (except her serve).  She has a great forehand, pretty good backhand, great movement...but her serve needs work.  Of course she's only 17 so maybe there is time.

It's looking way easier than say few slams before. But still not gonna break it down since we should take step by step.

draw from hell for Djokovic. DP in QF, Murray in SF, Rafa/Fed in F. maybe it's a good thing.

It's a good draw Alex :innocent: players can fall before QF.Potty not the best Draw if both are in the QF.Not dropping set's will be huge in the 1st week @ USO.Roger never played in Montreal, can he peak @ USO?Murray's done the same as last year in the 2 Masters, but peaked in the USO last year.Birdman could face Stan,Will Stan's backhand fire @ USO,if it does he can be a right pain 2 anyone.Has Nadal played 2 much leading into the USO to win it?These are things that i'm thinking about ATM.

Young the only US man to qualify this year, I believe. Quite unusual that. I believe it's the 9th straight MD appearance for Don.
