Stanley 2 sets up  :lmao:

At least he won't go passive after this lead like Gasquet yesterday when he almost lost because of it.
Stan will keep his game. Hopefully he can keep it up  ;-()

Wawrinka-Djokovic would be a barnburner of a match. Their AO match was epic to say the least.

That was the best match of the year. I like attack vs attack. Stan and Gasquet played the best set of tennis of 2013 at RG. I can't do Murray and Djokovic. Good to see Nadal is playing an aggressive brand of tennis on HC this year.

And Nadal hit 22 winners in the 5th set of Roland Garros semi (and Djokovic hit 13). Best thing I've ever seen.
“It is not too far way,” Toni Nadal told The Australian after Nadal collected the 13th major of his career by mowing down Novak Djokovic in an electrifying final of the US Open. “It is getting very, very close for Rafa to be level with Roger or more.”

God oh god I like this so far.

This could be the best day of the USO for me.

Maybe this is the tournament where Wawrinka gets the Swiss top ranking and Nadal gets the top ranking :)

This is just beautiful.

Teaching Murray how to play tennis.

Wawrinka is playing some quite exquisite tennis.  And his own serve / ROS has been impressive. It seems that AM is just not up to more than this today. His demeanour says it all.

I note that Stepanek / Paes have beaten the Bryans!  Is this the end of life as we know it ???

God oh god I like this so far.

This could be the best day of the USO for me.

I haven't watched many matches, and you are likely to have watched more than me. So if you say this, I can gauge how the others must have been. In which case, I haven't missed much!   :)

SW just played a beautiful stroke there to get a break point.  And he took the break with a peach of a shot!  Pure magic!

I think Stan is a beautiful mixture of old school tennis and modern day tennis. More old school though.
He's playing so smart so far. A joy to eyes.

Determination, focus, variety, tendency to attack, etc... All there.

Gasquet (27) and Stan (18 ) combined for 45 winners in the 4th set. Just an amazing back-and-forth shootout.

Murray 0-30

Djokovic hasn't played enough legit competition to be ready for Wawrinka, so far. Wawrinka will most likely beat Djokovic, but no way in hell will Wawrinka even take a set from Nadal.

And Stan takes the easy 4, 3, and 2 victory! w00t! GO STAN!!! The semis are settling in exactly how I wanted em to. All that's left is Djoker beating Youzhny, which I highly doubt I have to worry about in the slightest.

Heck yeah, it will, Babs! And I'm gonna be there live for it this time! :)) :))

Very nice to see SW through to his first GS semi.  Congratulations to him.
AM hasn't looked compelling since his Wimbledon win. I hope he'll find some momentum soon.
