Huh, we've gone 2 days without a peep from Alex. Someone tell him that Murray lost, not Nole.   :)~

I only realized yesterday night that he was banned again after I figured his new account(Sexy Latina) got banned too  :rofl_2:

It seems I signed off too soon, as MY put up a good effort by taking a set off ND.  If SW plays like he did against AM, the SF with ND could be the match of the tournament.
Is Nadal the only one not to have lost a set yet?

Rafa816 - I hope you'll have a great time at the USO, and  forward to hearing from you about your time there.  :) Have fun!

Thanks everyone! I will definitely have a blast! :))

Yeah, as Lug said, Nadal lost in a TB to Kohli the first set. But he remains the only one that's yet to drop serve the entire tourney. Which is amazing, considering his serve isn't even as it was in 2010, and he still got broken 5 times that year. He is varying it more, though, and he's playing even more aggressive. Not necessarily that he's serving amazingly well (even though he is doing pretty well), but just that he's backing it up amazingly well. And he's tough as nails when facing break points. No fear whatsoever.

Rafa is the FIRST to qualify for WTF this year! :D

Thanks Lugburz.

I'm watching the mixed doubles final.  I like Mirnyi / Hlavackova - nice to see them take the first set tb.

And he's hardly facing any breakpoints. Even in the Kohl match, Nadal faced only ONE breakpoint.

In the final, Nadal will have won his 22nd straight hardcourt match and his 22nd win over Djokovic, if Djokovic shows.
“It is not too far way,” Toni Nadal told The Australian after Nadal collected the 13th major of his career by mowing down Novak Djokovic in an electrifying final of the US Open. “It is getting very, very close for Rafa to be level with Roger or more.”

Interesting, Rafa has logged approx 1:45 hours more on court than Nole.

Djokovic never faced a player as good as Kohl. Kohl literally was playing as well as Wawrinka I think (or very close to it).

Are you asking if I think you are Alex? Not sure, I didn't even know that SexyLatina was Alex. I don't know Alex well enough to know his disguises.

I ask because there's nothing more annoying than tedious troll fanboys who have a compulsion to work their idol's name into every post. That would describe you, Alex, and sid. Innocuous comments are perceived as attacks, and you're overcome by the compulsion to defend your idol's honor. Jealous lovers. You guys get into your pissing matches going tit-for-tat. The fanboy whose player is currently on top has a bigger hard on for the moment. It's like your virtual Viagra. You're all one trick ponies. When your boy fails you'll find you no longer have anything to contribute then go away. You're not clever or special. You're a fanboy. We've seen your kind here for years. You think you're different. You're not.

Wow......I can see you are one of those 'personal posters' who plays the man instead of the ball. I post about tennis. You post about, me. Count yourself lucky that we never met in real life. I mean you wouldn't last long if you spoke like this to someone in person.

No mystery as to why the population is so small here. Babblelot drives them away. I registered thinking I would be allowed to post my opinion on tennis. See Babblelot, I never had a problem with your opinions, no matter what they were. Too bad you couldn't do me and others the same courtesy. Maybe you aren't from a democratic country.....

I'm sure the moderators appreciate you destroying the population. This forum has no future with you here, so I won't bother hanging around.
