Nadal vs Federer AND Serena vs Sloane. This is the best US Open EVER.

Don't get too far ahead of yourself.  Roger has to get there first.  I'm pretty sure Nadal will have no trouble with the way he's playing, but I have to take it one match at a time with Roger.  He can win against anyone, but at this stage of his career, he can lose against anyone too.  So...ONE MATCH AT A TIME!!!!!! :head-bash: :head-bash: :head-bash:

On Sloan/Serena.  I like both of them, but I like Serena more.  So if that happens, I'll be pulling for Serena.

That's ok, even if Federer doesn't make the QF its no worries.

Serena/Sloane is the most interesting rivalry on WTA. Its great for the game, and I think Serena will dominate the slams for a few more years. So that rivalry will be really interesting as Sloane continues to improve. And even though I don't like their personalities, they are the  personalities that create controversy, and that is a good thing.
“It is not too far way,” Toni Nadal told The Australian after Nadal collected the 13th major of his career by mowing down Novak Djokovic in an electrifying final of the US Open. “It is getting very, very close for Rafa to be level with Roger or more.”

I'm waiting to see how Serena will look in her match tonight. (After the Hewitt/Del Po match).  If she looks ok in that one, she has a chance to win against Sloane, but Sloane does have fire-power and she moves better than someone like Sharapova or Victoria.  But...first thing first.... Let's go Serena (whenever she gets a chance to get on court!) :\

Serena is a lot mentally tougher and clutcher. So she'd be the favorite vs Sloane, but Sloane talent-wise has the game to bother her for sure (as already has been shown).

Although she has some faults, there's plenty to appreciate when it comes to Serena. :))

Simona Halep is hot! She mauled Kirilenko 6-1 6-0!

Camila Giorgi, what a pretty girl. I'm watching her against Woz and she is pretty good. very nice FH. I'm surprised she is not ranked higher. Babbs, I'm sure you know more about this Italian girl.

Giorgi (remind you she is a qualifier) def. Wozniacki. Fantastic effort. I'm telling ya, this girl can play. She is very aggressive, great FH. I finally found a girl to cheer for. 21yo. I predict a very bright future for her. She is playing Vinci next.

So...Sloane and Serena tomorrow.  I'll be pulling for Serena, but if Sloane wins... I'll also be happy for her.

And Wozy lost to who? tonight???? :rofl_2:
