Obviously Federer's back was killing him, he couldn't even practice. Djokovic got the call earlier, so it was no suprise.

Djokovic got lucky. A free WTF crown.
Though I had Nole as the favorite it wasn't certain at all.
Nishikori gave Nole a tough time so Fed would have had his chances too.

Oh well, that's the way it goes.
I'm glad Fed stopped when he did, playing Djokovic would be very tough with a bad back and could do some real long lasting damage.
Agreed, without the injury, it might have been a fun match.
Well, to me it was obvious during the Stan match already Fed was not going to win this. I had no doubts about it. While most ppl were preparing for an exciting final I already knew it was over and i called it. Unfortunately, the rest is just coulda, shoulda, woulda, mighta and other kinds of irrelevant blablabla. Understandably, everybody laments an anticlimax like that......

What's going on?
Dunno about the rest, probably everybody's back in their snailhouses after the "final", as for me, I have insomnia atm and am checking out forums and posting on them..... I've registered on several new non-english forums cause i'm trying to learn a new language, which is not really easy as an adult but wtf, "learn 'til death" is the new slogan everywhere ard the world and it's a good one :rofl_2:..... So i'm trying to chat a bit and communicate in the new language with new ppl, some of them are nice.

Saw the Fed Monfils match. Fed got schooled, he didn't have any game at all.
