morning general monster, general slasher.

I think all 4 will be pretty damn tough.

I will go with 2 for 2014.
4 would be tough.
2 is within reasonable reach.

If he has any brains at all, he will skip the tennis in Rio and rest up for Carnival the following week.  That is well worth the sacrifice of a tennis title....

agreed general monster. 4 will be very tough.

he will take RG and that leaves 3 more to grab just one of them.

he is not the brightest chap when it comes to training and scheduling. that is why he has spent at 2 years of his prime years on the sidelines.

I think he has 2-3 years left for some decent production. he needs to stay healthy and fresh to be able to go after whatever he has set out to do.

just one more 5-7 month long setback and his career is over as far as slams go. he wont be able to recover and catch up with the competition next time around.

I hear ya. I just look at it for info.

they have info on all of the upcoming matches. even the matches from smaller events.

they have live scores, rankings, late breaking tennis news.

just a quick glance gives me the information I need.

they don't have much of a forum which is fine. its the tennis info that I need very quickly and it is all there at my finger tips.

Clay Death, you've always seemed to slap Rafa on one cheek then kiss him on the other. For years now you've predicted the end for Rafa.  As usual you bark about his training schedule. It seems to work for him. I think we're past the point of discussing whether or not his knees will take him out. They will or they won't. He probably won't be able to come back from a long break (although, who knows, we're talking about Rafa), so there's really no discussion left. Stay tuned for knee news -- until they're gone, he'll play tennis.

He isn't just Clay Death anymore. He's proved himself quite capable on hard courts and he worked his butt off to do it. Considering that clay was his home, and he had to make considerable effort on hard court to catch up with the hc guys, he's done an amazing job. He's still the Bull of Barcelona in my mind, the boy doesn't have any "give up" in him. He's still getting better. Happy, happy, happy.

Hey general,  let's hope the surgery is successful and that Mr. Murray is able to return healthy in whatever time it takes.

Jerzy Janowicz has a similar problem - herniated spinal disc, and has been told to take 3-4 weeks absolute rest.  And then they will evaluate if he needs surgery or not.  Pretty sad for a 22 year old guy in his first full year on tour already ranked #14.  Let's hope he returns healthy as well.

So many guys have left the sport with bad backs.  But at least most of them like Lendl and Sampras had pretty full careers.

Respectfully,
masterclass

http://www.camelotelitetennis.com/index.php

everybody lets stay in touch. no need to fight anymore.

we are all grown up now.

stop by Camelot and say hello. it is the right thing to do anyway.

no harm in joining and having a few more options on your hands.

and there is never any harm in having more friends.

we can all grow together. it is better that way and way more fun.
