I was going to pick murray for the title at wtf but he is being slowed down by some back issues again.

there is still some time left. hopefully he can get going again.

Every indication shows that Nadal should win this tourney. He's playing the hard courts better than ever and Murray and Nole are both on a lull. Dark horse? My pick would probably be Wawrinka. I think he could surprise some people.

Rafa is the FIRST to qualify for WTF this year! :D

what about nole? this dude is the defending champion. is he a defeated man at the moment?

I am hoping that andy murray gets on a roll again.

he took down ivan dodig today in straights. he will be in Thailand this week.

lets see how it goes there.

I would say he is. I mean, he didn't really face a real challenge in the USO until Wawrinka, who almost beat him, and then Nadal did beat him. And Nadal has handed him defeat in two of the last 3 hard court events. So, unless Nole brings up something that we haven't seen since the very early part of this year, I don't see him taking this year's WTF.

As far as Murray, I can't see him bringing much to the table either. He still seems exhausted from the first part of the year. He made the finals of the Australian, won Miami, won Queen's and Wimbledon. That's a good year. But he hasn't really done anything since, and I don't really see it being likely for him to surge back to form for the WTF. But like you said, we'll see how he does in the upcoming hard court events, and we can gauge where he is then.

Rafa is the FIRST to qualify for WTF this year! :D

I am going to pick andy for wtf if he wins the thai open and the shanghai masters.

it would also tell me that his back is on the mend.

andy has been on a bit of a roll in London. he may be able to keep that going a little longer.

Apparently. I'm kinda surprised. Who's gonna want to watch Nadal absolutely slaughter Nalbandian. Aren't exhos supposed to be relatively close and fun?

Nadal said himself the knees will always be a problem but it's manageable. This was recently.

Nadal would also like to have a career year, he has a way to go for that.

People want to see Nadal and Nalby. It doesn't have to be a slam final.

For many it's very nice to see Nadal in person, that's what Exo's are all about dude.  :))
