At 5-4 and serving in the first set, Ferrer made two mistakes in a row (both comfortable backhands) that he would not make even in his sleep to go down 0-30, and it went Djokovic's way after that.  It was still a great match.

Speaking of Ferrer, Euroka if I am not mistaken, on your avatar photo, you are watching Ferrer play one of his worst matches in the last couple of years :)  He lost to Bellucci in two easy sets that day  :Confused:

It could well have been. Certainly the scene has a certain bleakness about it  :blue: and I do remember that Ferrer did not play well there. Apart from on TV, I've not seen him play well in quite a time. He dropped out of Cincinnati fairly early this  year losing to Tursunov 2-6, 4-6.

If Nadal had been playing there would not have been an empty seat.
