Absolutely insane level of play from this young man right now.  Going into Paris it was inconceivable that he could become the number one this year.  After all, all Nadal had to do was make the finals at Paris or win 2 matchs at the WTF.  Oh, and in addition to this, Novak would have to finish the year undefeated.

Undefeated!

Well, he didn't get the number 1, but at the time who would have thought that Nole would finish the year like this.  Just an incredible streak and it shows that you can absolutely take nothing for granted right now.  This battle between Nole and Nadal is much more interesting then the One between Federer and Nadal because Nadal is a much more all-surface player now and the matchup is basically even instead of just one-sided.

Really looking forward to the Aussie Open.  Can we just fastforward through the holidays and get there? :rofl_2:

Swish:
It looked like Nole was hitting his stride but I didn't expect him to finish so strongly.

Now the question is how the time off will effect his play.

Looking forward to the new season, there's a few players to watch and the rest will give most of them time to recharge.

monstertruck:
Just watched him take down Berdych in Davis Cup.
He played with great intensity.
2014 should be another good year for tennis. :))

He has upped his intensity big time since a few months now, can he maintain it is the question.

Bring on 2014.  :)>>>>

Swish:
Djokovic has won 24 straight matches and counting.

The AO is in the bag so no telling how far he'll go.
No one can challenge him when he's at top level except Fed and Fed is a big question mark.
