What would you like to change about the avatars KK?  You can load any that you like, I just ask that they are not too big.  I even allow people to send me images and I will resize them and they put them on Tennis4you.com for hosting...

While I don't like on some boards when people open many threads on the same subject, I find that the policy we have here of "one thread only per tournament", even for big tourneys, makes it more difficult to follow and participate and talk about all the different things happening in a tourney. :(

Just my 2 cents, hope like it doesn't sound as if I'm criticizing anything.     ||-|

Also maybe it would be useful to separate "discuss your own game" :farmer: from "discuss the pro game" :winner: if you see what I mean. Not that I'm into segregation but just to make things clearer. Just an idea anyway.    :\

I have thought about an instructional forum to discuss instructional parts of the game.  But I find that a lot of people frequent the general board and I think the most opinions will be shared if it gets posted in the general forum.  I am always cautious to make too many forums as well.

And no, you are not being too critcial...  I opened this thread to discuss what can make this place better, all comments are welcome, even brutal ones.  I think the slams are sometimes tougher to follow wen we post in just one thread, the smaller tournaments are not though.  If we have tons of threads for slams though the same discussions take place in all of them.  We need to find a happy medium, it is a good comment!

... I would change the fact that so many members join, but only about 1/3 of them actually post on a regular basis.

I think you should get rid of the top posters list. It will eliminate a lot of useless posts.
I've been a tennis bum for half my life.
I'll just be a bum for the other half.

WHen I post, I actually don't pay attention to the top ten list a lot. And I don't think that other top ten posters do as well. Overall, this site is perfect. The only thing is that, for some reason, I can't access any PMs from my save box; I can only open the last message that I saved.

I couldn't find any other thread to put this under so I chose this one.

I particularly like how guests are allowed to post. I think that this allows a lot more discussions. All the other forums that I've been to require you to sign up and I think that that's a big turn-off.

I liek allowing guests to post too.  I think the for classifieds section benifits from it.  I have a lot of guests that post there.  Why would you want to sign up somewhere just to unload 1 racquet or something.

U still having problems accessing the saved PMs?

If I weren't a moderator, I wouldn't like how guests are allowed to post. But since I am, I can see their IP addresses. :)
