Sharapova looked hardcore as a child tho. Now, it's a very much annoying demeanor she has but in the jr's, somoene who has a badass attitude and can back it up...well that is just awesome.

I think that Sharapova's "bad attitude" cane from the tennis academy when she was younger. I was watching this show called topspin on (i forget which channel) and they said that Sharapova used to get made fun of a lot b/c of her accent at the time. I can understand how she felt b/c I went throught the same thing in elementry school when I first moved from Jamaica; of course, no one could possibly tell that I was in ternational now. Anyways, yeah, Sharapova is mean because her childhood torment and she probably still has the anger inside of her.

Why would they make fun of her accent? Just about everyone at Bolleiteris is from another country. Plus there are a lot of Russians that go there. Kournikova has a thicker accent than Maria does so Im betting she had one as a child and also went to Bolleiteris. She was a cute kid though. I remember when Leonardo Di Caprio was on growing pains. I watched that show when I was a kid.

You have to realize what age we're talking about. Sharapova was about 13-14 which means that she was surrounded by middle-schoolers; and most kids in middle school are pretty immature and mean.

I know but most of these kids are from another country themselves. It doenst matter though.
