Yeah it can get kind of nauseating, especially when one of his matches is played on TV, all you hear the whole time is how great he is, how he's the greatest ever, how amazing he is. I wonder if the commentators ever get tired of saying the same things everytime he plays and asking each the same questions they already ask the last time he played? It gets old. In sociology class I learned that humans desire to be apart of a group because it gives them a sense of belonging, and very few people are actually individualist. So that explains allot of the jumping of the bandwagon with Federer, but to each his own.

I voted yes because we could certainly deal with all the Federer praise and predictions in one thread.

Hi! I'm new here..... from www.topspin-me.tk

No.  I guess unless he gets to win a Roland Garros, I wouldn't be sick of the Federer praises... right now, it still feels great to cheer for him because although he has achieved so much already, I still want to see him actualize being really one of the best in history by filling up any goals he hasn't reached yet... like the RG. I mean I think he isn't "Sampras-great" or "McEnroe-great" yet for people to get sick of his winning streak....

No, he consumes as much of tennis fans talk as such a dominant 1 would expect to obtain.    Among golf fans Tiger Woods consumes even more of the talk than Roger Federer among tennis fans, and there are even more noteable golfers than tennis players to the casual fan, say about 20 male tennis players, but about 45-50 male golfers.

Well what I said is true.    There are athletes in other sports, that Roger is just as dominant or more dominant than, who consume way more talk.   I am annoyed at listening to the gushing over them, so I am certainly not going to complain about my favorite player getting it.    He is the best player in the world by far, the centrepiece of the game, so he will consume the talks of people who cover the sport, that is just reality.

Yes. All the talk about Federer has actually made me hate him more. It's not even his own fault so I wish people would just give it a rest about him.

Seriously

I'm just so tired of hearing all this crap about Federer. He's good and all, but they really need to give it a rest. :\

What Serena talk? They don't really talk about her that much; except about how she needs to get in shape or some other stuff like that.

I might be able to see how it is irritating, but no I'm not bored at all.  Would you rather talk about Maria's modeling, or Serena's fashion?
