I said Davenport! Her serve is amazing! Venus 1st serve is deadly when she gets it in,. but that doesn't happen often!

Serena I would say.    Davenport has a great serve as well, Maria's has always been very good and she looks like she wants to improve it further, Venus has a great first serve atleast.   Still I go with Serena's overall serve, and combined first and second serve, as the best.

I'm going back a few years, but when Serena was #1 ranked, she had thebest serve, and I still see it in most of her matches, but the consistency just ins't there anymore.

ill admit serenas serve isnt that consistent anymore. I did not vote for maria's serve bc one i feel taht other players on that list have better serves and techniques. maria's while pretty powerful lacks much variety, and she hits a totally flat serve pretty much all the time w/o spin, and she doesnt really use placement all that much imo. therefore i disagreed taht she has the best serve out of that list. I'm not denying that she has a great serve, but it's not the best out of that list

Serena wins this one hands down. Even at her absolute worst, Serena's serve is dominant over almost all the players in the top 20. She has power, variety, spins, placement...its just amazing and I've witnessed it at her best and worst and its still amazing.

Arc and I agree again. Had this been just first serves, I'd go with Venus but Serena has the complete package. No one else seems to have nearly as much variety with the serve.
