Well..........how was last night's playing???

I laid down some serious hurting on the opponent's last night. I got to play with one of my favorite guys though on Thursday night, so we had fun the entire night. We talked a lot of smack, it was good stuff. My flat serve seems to be out of control on the first serve. Kick serves were fine, out wide spin serves were fine, but the flat serves were horrible. I need to work that out. Other than that, I hit everything very well. They didn't hit the ball very hard so I had a lot fo time to do what I wanted. I pretty much owned the court last night with my volleys.

I played yesterday and tore up the guy who beat me last week in that same league. My partner last week had an off day (to say the least) and the opponents played well. I wasn't a ton of help to my partner either. So when I found out I was playing the guy again (we each had new partners, about even this time) I set out for sweet revenge. I tore it up proper. I hit the hell out of everything and let nothing get past me at the net. We won 6-2, 6-2. I had one of them throwing his hands up in the air and then he had the nerve to ask em in a pissed off tone "Are you going to miss anything today?" I had only been on the court once before with that guy and he was my partner. We won easily, I do not recall him complaining when he was my partner back when...

Ballin' indeed, I carried that over into USTA tonight and I notched a win over someone I had never beaten before. We returned like wild animals. My partner didn't hold serve in the second set and we broke them all but once in that set. 6-3, 6-3. I returned well, and by well I mean well. I was ripping into returns like there was no tomorrow. I was hitting them so hard you would have thought I was Freebird.

I saw a couple of those, and was wishing I could've borrowed them last night - I needed a few myself! I did catch Baker's opponents mumbling amongst themselves after one of his devastating returns...nice moment.

I particularly enjoyed hearing his opponents get frustrated at V.I.C.'s "ooooh" after Scott clobbered one return. I can't remember exactly what they said, but it wasn't happy talk. And that was right before I chucked my racquet and made them even happier....
