Played last night, maybe a week too soon, but that's my style. Thinking I need another 7-14 days. I will start with 7 as the goal and see how I feel on day 6.
OSU and MC played together, which was a pretty dumb move on their part. Not dumb because we would destroy them but because I had not touched a racquet in 6 weeks and my partner had not touched a racquet in 8 weeks. I assume they were just looking for the easy win. We lost 5-7, 2-6. They took it easy on us in the first set.
My returns were decent, I took some big forehand swings as opposed to my typical chip and charge. I need to get my topspin forehand back in working order so it is time to get it off of the shelf and take a few more big cuts. A good chunk of them went in, and then they go in they usually go untouched which is a good feeling.

My serves were rough. I hat 6 or 7 double faults, but that is to be expected. My partner and I hit a combined total of 10 errors in my first service game. 3 dfs for me, a missed overhead and some volleys. Partner missed two easy volleys. We cleaned it up from there, but still rough.
All in all though, I think hitting with wifey helps me a lot. Although the snow on the courts this morning will keep me from doing that for a few days, but my calves will appreciate that.
