Haha. no. The reason I was confused was because I actually knew that "Mass" was refering to Massacheusettes. So actually YOU are a little slow on the up-take ;)

Yes, I also know that he was talking about Mass. as in Massachusets but the way he spelled it I could also joke that he wanted you to take your stix to church (mass) to fix your need to play tennis.  Are we all clear now?   ..-)

Today was a pretty good tennis day than usual....
I picked up my tennis ball and racquet.
THen I volleyed against the wall in my room. I can definitely say that I still got it going on. ;)
Tomorrow, I may add a littl footwork to the mix.

Sooooo
I actually went out to hit. The first time since I graduated high school.lol
But yeah, it's weird because I still had a big serve. And my forehand was pretty good. But my timing and footwork/positioning was a nightmare. Plus I was soooo soar the next day and I was only hitting for like 20mins. I didn't realize how fit tennis made me. Cause it's not like I wasn't working out regularly all this time. It's crazy.

Timing is always rough when you miss too much time.  Give it a few times, it will improve!  Good to hear you were on the court!
Good Luck on the Court!!!

One thing I've found, as I've had to take breaks from tennis now and then, is to get back out and play the next day.
Whenever I get into the situation where I'm going to be sore, lifting weights, playing a sport I haven't played for a long time, I'm using muscles that haven't had the strain put on them. The next day I start to feel some tightness, and discomfort, but on the second day, I'm full blown sore, and any movement with those muscles is painfull. I've learned that if I go out the next day and do a light workout with the same muscles, doing the same thing, even if it's a little uncomfortable, the second day's soreness is greatly reduced.

For me the prospect of pain is a pretty good motivator.

Yeah, I actually enjoy being soar. It lets me know that I got off my booty and did something.

I hit the gym a couple days ago. Even though i work out regularly, I rarely go to the gym. So basically I just realized how my non tennis arm (my right arm) is still way weaker than my left. Because after I did the workout, my whole right arm and pec are SORE, but my left is totally fine.lol
