It would drive me nutz to play in shorts this long.  Of coarse being 5'-4" tall those would probably be pants for me.  :)

Good Luck on the Court!!!

Those are not shorts, they're high water pants  ..-)
I think they're kinda ugly.
I've been a tennis bum for half my life.
I'll just be a bum for the other half.

THOSE PANTS ARE SO ADORABLE!!!  I CAN'T STAND IT!!!

Seriously, good for the youngster for wearing something most grown men are too "macho" to even consider.  It takes a man to dress like a girl sometimes.

Hmm, they're Nike, aren't they?  When can we expect to see Hewitt and Fed in those?  (Anything to get away from those dreadful baggies they were now).

As another dimunitive person (shorter than you Scott), they'd do nothing for me though.

I say good for Nadal for stepping outside the box. Am I the only one who would refuse to wear something (like those blue Nike shirts) that everyone else is also wearing?

I wear the same grey shirts for every match, I have over 20 of them (yes I know that is scarey, and a little freaky) so yes, I would refuse to wear them too.  :)

Do you sweat a lot Scott?  Because that's the reason I NEVER wear gray when playing sports.

I am not a heavy sweater thank goodness.  I have noticed the last few years I think I sweat a little more than I thought I did in the past.  I have wrist bands in the tennis bag for the hottest of days.  But in the summer if it is not a league match I am not wearing any shirt, that is my ultimate preference.

In general, tennis clothes are boring.  Nadal is at least TRYING to suggest something new.  I hate the sleeveless shirts.  I pretty much think they look good on nobody.  Maybe a good sleeveless design is in the future, though.

I really think making cooler tennis clothes the norm would help tremendously.  If kids want to wear the clothes, even if they're not a player, it would be good publicity.  A lot of tennis clothes look like golf clothes with shorts, and that's not a good thing.
