Jamesdster:
Basic Info:
Age: old
Height: 6'4"
Weight: no comment
Hand: Lefty
backhand: two-handed topspin but hit a 1 handed slice
strength: serve, forehand, blinding of opponent with forehead (when the sun's out)
weaknes: forehand volley; not able to get to the ball due to body falling apart
level: 2.5 - 5.5 depending on the day
favorite stroke: breast
style: get to the net yesterday
serve resemblace: McEnroe's closed stance but don't drag the back foot
doubles/singles specialist: enjoy both
Last night I attempted to play singles but my plantar fasciitis did not cooperate and I quit after a game and a half. I think it's time to rest for a bit. This is such a bummer because I had just got my game back almost to where I wanted it after being off 3 months (Oct - Dec) due to a bad back.
Prior to that, in July/04, I aggrevated my acl-less, arthritic knee and was off for 6 months (until around 1/1/05). It took FOREVER to find the game after that. Then when I did, the stinking back goes. Now the heel!!! Can't get ahead, always swimming upstream. Oh to be young again like my buds Scott and Jeffro.

You had to default! That sucks dude, I was pumped that you were hitting again and hitting with us! I hope this heals fast!

I never realized that injuries were so prone when you got older. I feel bad for you man and I hope you manage to heal quicker so you can get back out there on the court. Makes me cherish being young.
