I missed all this action.  I gotta start hitting my journal more often for some laughs I guess.   ;-()  MT and OSU done kilt me again.

Last night I played in the over 50 – 4.5 league.  My partner was Mark L and we played a very good team but unfortunately for them, we wuz both in da zone at the same time.  We beat them 2 & 1!!!!!!!!!  We didn’t miss nuffing all nite.  It was ridiculous.  The one guy (Stewart) came down from Cleveland to play for them.  He used to live in Cols so I know him from “the old days” and is a very nice guy who can flat out play.  He travels the country playing in national tourneys and I even umpired his title match last year when he beat Richard J, who OWNS me like no other.  We lost the first game of both sets and ONE other.  Stu's partner was Jim C who is not as good as Stu but still a decent dbls playuh.  I wish I could play like that all the time, or at least most of the time.  ://

I just looked at a dbls draw wasn't even included  :confused1:.  Maybe he's still making the draws or maybe not enough teams so it's cancelled?   :confused1:

I saw that also...........and your partner is playing singles at 9:30 am I think.  Is there any chance you could play at Elysium at 10am tomorrow morning?  We are hurting!

How can you umpire and play?    Umping while not playing?

I guess matches are played from 8 to 8 with my couple of matches sprinkled in there.  I'm gonna be a stinky umpire after I play.

Tourney director just emailed me....."Doubles sign ups are open until 12 noon Saturday. I have you and Ryan on the list."  Must be tiny.

Oh SNAP!!  Monster and Babs just took a shot!!   :rofl_2:

I woke up at 6, called off work...slept and watched tennis till 3 (Wimbledon) and finally ate a bowl of cereal....24 hrs over 2 days in that heat and humidity just about kilt me, no lie.

You just forgot to mention the score. :)~
Team BabbleMonster crusied to a straight sets victory over the Dynamic Duo of ScootDster 6-4, 7-6 (9), 6-4, 6-3, 6-2.
Of course the score line is correct.  Under 'Monster' rules all 5 sets are played regardless of score to ensure ample court time. ;-()
