Played doubles with Scotty and 2 others last night.  I haven't played too much lately and it really showed.  I played horribly and Scott played about the same.  Baaaad night of tennis.  When I'm out of form, the service return takes the longest to get back and I think I hit 2 good ones all stinkin night.  I think I drug Scott down to my sad level.

I have my echocardiogram at 10AM.  I'll do anything to get out of work for a couple of hours   .

Good Luck!!!

But everyones rusty when your nbot playing that much!!! ..-)

You just need to take advantage of all the time you have free, use it to train, and you'll be as good as new.

Thought it was hilarious and had to use it.  I have always been a huge fan of John Elway.
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

Another test down; ? to go.  The results from my echocardiogram will be sent to the doc who will then let me know what they say (maybe next week).  Pretty cool test.  Lay on a table and some lab tech does an ultrasound on the ticker.  Pretty neat watching and listening to it.  I wanted to get a pic to take to the courts for verification that yes I do have a heart (for those of you who have said that I am heartless).   :)

You never heard the "John Elway has a horse-face" references?

I cannot locate that Mr. Rogers one.  I have tried.  One day it disappeared and when I tried to find it again out on the internet it was nowhere to be found.

Well sugah, I have been feeling pretty well, thanks for asking.  I am about half way through my 30 days of wearing this dang heart monitor.  Itís a lot of fun wearing it on court   .  I have taken lots of abuse from Scottie, Buckeye, Jeffro, and the rest of the club members about being wired and such.  Iíve finally completed all the tests my doc ordered (another doc said he was going to recommend the EP test to my doc) now I am waiting to hear back from her with what I hope is good news.
Also, I played singles last night for the 2nd time since playing Buckeye in December.  Man did it feel strange playing singles.  So I basically attacked and hit a lot of good volleys and half volleys while the groundies were shaky to say the least.  I got up 2 breaks and then relaxed and ended up losing my serve and only won by 1 break.  Iím starting to find the game a little.  The cobwebs are starting to fall off (a littleÖlong way to go) and every now and then there is a flashback to the old days (when I could play).  I just need to play more and I have now played doubles last Thur-Fri-Sat and singles last night and scheduled to play dubs Thur thru Sat again this week.  Itís all about the court time and the knee allowing me to move.

Demolished is such a strong word.  I would say........annihilated or destroyed would be more like it.  haha...just kidding.  It should be pointed out that Buckeye is a "doubles specialist", rarely venturing over to the singles court.  But he could very easily be transformed into a nice singles player.
