I better post something about last night before Buckeye calls me out.  I played doubles on the court next to Scottie.  It was some pretty bad tennis overall.  I played very average with the return still stinking.  I served ok and the forehand was ok but the backhand wasn't doing so well either.  Upon further review, I guess this is me (serve and forehand). Volleys and overheads were fine.  The play was very sloooow, too much time on changeovers and lots of deliberate play and taking forever to serve, etc..so I kinda went into a funk and finished runnerup to the Rocker for the night.  I even made a sarcastic coment one time during the changeover about making the next one "teatime."  So I made no friends again last night.  If Scott won his court he will be moving up to my court and that means next week IT'S ON!

Who were the other 3 players?    I forget if the rocker is PC or CR?

Rocker = CR
The other 2 were J Lester and D Morfing.  Scott's ct was stronger.
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

I will be 49 in 70 days and 50 in 435 days.  Hey Buckeye, watch it there sonny boy! :Boxing:

Oh and yes, I should've won a lot more games than I did.

Also, someone called my racket an antique last night.    ...not very funny  :)~

How old and big exactly is this racquet?  I hear a lot of references to Dinosaurs with your racquet.
It's not made up of stone or anything is it - like with recomended string tension carved into the handle..  :))

So, do you also run/drive to the club when you play?    That might explain any past foot problems!

I guess the movie didn't leave much of an impression on me because I don't really even remember what happened in the movie!

Fri. - practiced outdoors for about an hour and had no energy and thus didn’t hit real well.

Sat. – 2 hrs of doubles; won 4 & 4 and played a bit better than last Thursday

Sun. - jogged for 30 minutes at the local park.  First time I've jogged in a long time due to the knee but it was a soft dirt path and I went sloooooooooooooooooooow.

Tonight – playing singles for an hour in our league tonight.  I hope to keep building on my singles progression to the point where I feel comfortable on the singles court again.  I really need to get the service return in working order.
