I hit for about 20 minutes last night with a club demo......Head Metallix 10 tennis racket

It felt like a very solid racket but is WAAAAAY light (at least compared to my Dunlop).  It would take quite a while to get my timing down with this one.

Made of a specially designed matrix of carbon fibers and a new crystalline metal alloy. This alloy’s grain-size is 1000 times smaller than that of a typical metal*. The decreased grain size means increased performance, or, as the Hall-Petch Effect states: smaller grains = stronger material. The result is a lighter, stronger and more powerful racquet than ever before.

As big a Rush fan as I am....
2112 wasn't even Rush's best album.
The 2112 suite was awsome, but the second side is full of OK/good songs.
Farewell To Kings/Hemishperes/Permant Waves/Moving Pictures/Signals/Grace Under Pressure/Power Windows has to be one of the best run of absolute brilliance any band has ever accomplished. Caress of Steel and 2112 were just precursers to that.

Here you go then....just for you in your journal.....2112!   I saw them at Polaris Ampitheater a couple years back and it was mucho fun!   Expensive beers that night!   My friends hooked me up with the tix so I hooked them up with beer!  4 beers=$50 dollars!  Ouch!  I dropped a hundo for 2 rounds!   :(

Ah yes...Caress of Steel actually has my anthem on it.."I Think I'm Going Bald"   :)) .  Also, I like the funkadelic "Necromancer" a lot.

Played dubs today with a pretty good player from the Thurs night group.  We played against a couple of 4.0's and won 6-1 6-1 then 6-2 3-1 in garbage time.  I really like these Head rackets I've been demo-ing.

The demise of the Dino-3 has been greatly exaggerated.  I just haven't strung the poor babies so I am FORCED to use another brand. :))
