Haha. Loses to Nikolay Davydenko. What a loser this Henman guy is. Where are all the Henman supporters now huh? He's a natural born choker, why don't you Henman fans cheer for a real athlete like Safin. Henman will never win a Grand Slam ever.

lol

I am not sure when it has changed for me, but I used to dispise Henman.  I guess I am starting to feel a little sorry for him.  He is nearing the end of his career and has yet to win a major.  Before I couldn't stand him, now I guess, well, I am not sure what I am saying.  It is almost like a Goran thing, if he won Wimbledon I guess I would be happy for him.
Good Luck on the Court!!!

The world would come to an end if Henman finally won Wimbldeon.

Quote
British number one Tim Henman said he was “gutted” at losing his third round match with Nikolay Davydenko (RUS) at the Australian Open on Saturday.

“My expectations were high coming into the event and to lose this early is very disappointing,” explained the seventh seed, who was beaten 6-4 6-2 6-2.

“I felt my preparation was good and I was hitting the ball well coming into the match.

“I’d played pretty well in the first couple of rounds so to lose this easily was a bit of a shock.

“Having said that, there’s no doubt that [Nikolay] played well and deserved his win.

“I felt I was trying to execute my game plan but he was coming up with some great shots when I was trying to put him under pressure.

“The depth in men’s tennis is such that if you are a little bit below par you can lose to anybody.

“Having said that, I think I’ve played a lot worse and still managed to win before, but today he was able to keep his standard of play up throughout the match, and that made life very difficult for me.

“Obviously I’ve got to try and keep learning from it but it doesn’t get any easier.”

I dont understand why you guys hate him so much.  Of course, he's a loser results-wise, but he seems like a nice guy.  Beside, so many other people have horrible teeth.

In fact I think Tim Henman best chance to win a Grand Slam was 2001 at Wimbledon.  He won the first two sets of he semifinal on Friday but lost the third.  Then rain halted play and when he came back on Saturday he lost the fourth set before more rain stopped play in the fifth set.  He finallly lost on Sunday but at least you could say he got to play on the final Sunday.  I have always felt if it didn't rain he might have won his semifinal and gone on the win Wimbledon.   It seems he has never come out of his many rain delays as well as before play was stopped.  However last summer rain didn't seem to be a problem for Tim as before at Wimbledon.  All of the rain delays seemed to occur after his match was completed for that day and when no play occured on the first Wednesday and Saturday Tim was not scheduled to play that day.  Thus he didn't have to wait around for the rain to stop and when no play occured he could stay at home or in his hotel room.  He lost in the quarterfinals so when the men's semifnals were delayed on Friday he didn't have to worry.

You remember my crazy Davydenko is going to be a top 10-er thread at the other board?  I wonder if this is the year.

Actually, my predictions have mostly been awful, and I'd given up on this guy, but who knows.

Dirty Kash

Do you also dislike the Easter Bunny, Santa, my mother???  I don't understand why you have so much venom for this guy.  He is as likeable as they come.  True, he always falls short of winning a master, but how can you hate such a nice guy.  You must have lost money on him once.
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg
