What does everyone use for sunscreen?  What type and what spf.  I never get burnt but i try to wear it when possible.  Light complection but i tan very well and hardly peel even without using any.

I can't stand the greasy ones that smell funny and burn your eyes.  I also notice that wearing sunscreen seems to make me feel hotter in the sun.  Any recommendations? I used the coppertone sport one and didn't like that much either.  Mainly I want a good one that won't burn my eyes, won't smell feminine, and will give me some protection without being greasy.

You know, that is a very good question.  Nearly all the ones you can buy in just a regular drugstore - Coppertone and such are fine on arms/legs. But the face is another story.  I actually buy a special one from my facialist that is not greasy and doesn't burn my eyes.  I would suggest going into a Skin Salon and getting one there.

But I've also heard that ones from 'skin' companies like Neutrogena and such are pretty good for the face as well.

I'm black but I never use any sunscreen. Mostly bc most black people don't burn but I think I probably should start wearing more sunscreen to prevent my skin from getting cancery. Is it really necessary for black people to wear it as much as white people? Honest question.

Wifey bought be some blue bottled sports sunscreen.  I will have to see when I get home.  Suppose to keep from getting my hand slippery.  I like it.  I think it is 30 SPF

The suncream only comes out now and again, as we don't get great weather too often and I don't need it too much to protect me, as my skin is fairly dark in terms of whiteness. I just use anything that we've got when I need it, I'm not fussy at all.

I think any light-skinned person is going to burn if you are outside in direct sunlight for any length of time.  When I was in Miami at the Nasdaq, I wore 30 suncreen all day and I still got a tan (not a burn) as I reapplied it to my arms and legs frequently.  I only applied it to my face in the morning because I was wearing a visor.  And lo-and-behold, I did get some redness on my face anyway.  When I go to Cincy for that tournament in August, I'm going to wear a full hat with a decent-sized brim (because my scalp actually got a sunburn as well!!)

Oh, and I agree that Banana Boat is a good sunscreen, but I've never used it on my face.

I know it's pretty bad, but I never wear sunscreen, but I never burn, and I tan relatively easily. I got a small amount of peeling on my arm the first time I was outside alot on springbreak, but that's all.
