How 'bout those MAVERICKS!!!! Go Dallas!!!!! I can remember when people were breaking in cars LEAVING Maverick tickets behind - we were that bad. Boy have we turned it around!

Dirk Nowitzki or Kobe Bryant should have been the MVP this year instead of Steve Nash. When I posted a thread on a basketball forum entitled, "well the real MVP outplays the official MVP to close out series" the whiny Nashaniacs had a real hissy fit.

Dirk is one bad honky. Any team that can beat the Spurs in a 7 game series must be pretty darn good. Dallas in 6 over the Heat.

now, my take on the NBA is that they all suck! they are just showboating and are being paid way to much. Why is it that a basketball player can make more in about a week than say our president does in a year

think about all the pres does in a year, and all the b-ball player does in a week

hmm, lets see shall we
the pres-meets with billions of people, makes decisisions such as, hmm shall i go to war to save this country but i will risk the lives of hundreds of thousands of soldiers and civilans.
or,
the b-ball player
plays in maybe 4 games a week, each 40 minutes long

i pretty much agree with you. they're mostly all overpaid and seem to want to be famous and rich rather than be an athlete.
