Went to see The Da Vinci Code , recently--was predictably insulted.  I don't want to see what they've done with Philip K. Dick's A Scanner Darkly!...Im curious about Woody Allen's Scoop.

Aside from that, I've seen:
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest  - ehnh
X-Men: The Last Stand  - enhh
Ice Age: The Meltdown - enhh

I take it back, I wanna go see that Leonard Cohen film:  Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man ...

If you want to see a good thriller (but they probably can't release it in America) go see 'La tourneuse de pages', a movie that really gives you shivers. A lot different than the Hollywood sh*t movies who just want to make quick profits by using special effects and stereotypical scripts.

However, I did liked 'The Hills have Eyes'. Not because it was scary orso (remake!), but because there are a lot of little things in it that make a laugh of the government Bush, for example Big Bob, who gets an American flag in his Republikan skull. Does someone here live in California :) ?

I may be the only person in America that does not like to go to movies!  Don't know why...but I'd rather read the book than see the movie.  Yes, call me strange. :insane:  The last movie I actually went to see in person was Bad Boys 2 (so you know how long ago that was), and the only reason I went was because my husband and I were visiting relatives in Florida and they wanted to take us to the movies.

Wed., and Thurs. I went to see Woody's Scoop, and Jennifer Anniston's The Break Up...

I fell asleeep in Scoop, {it's classic Woody, embarrassing but funny} and The Break Up...well....I kinda felt sorry for Mrs. Pitt, but as this movie probably doesn't serve as an evocation of her marriage to Brad...and I guess that's what I was looking for...so...I guess I went to leer into her life.  I should be ashamed.

I can't wait for Running with Scissors, although I strongly suspect that it won't be as good as the book.

Babblelot if you haven't read the book I would strongly recommend it, especially if you plan on seeing the movie.

I'm really excited for October aka Horror month.

We've got Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Saw III, The Return & The Grudge 2. I don't think the latter two will be very scary but the first two should be cash money in the bank.
