Nice!   Well done son and team!      I thought we were talking about post-match snack instead of pre-match!?   BTW, I never really heard how the Paris trip went.

I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

This matchup is enough to get certain other longtime slumbering forumers to check in for an update!  Looking forward to hearing about this one!!!

Good luck on the court is nice to have, but it's usually extraneous when playing against Baker.

BTW, how are you feeling Jster?  Did Scott wear you out yesterday?  Or worse, maybe now your strokes are right where you feel they need to be?   :rofl_2:

Actually I am a little worried about how the ole legs will respond tonight.  But since I am so young it should not be a problem.  :)~

Dont fight about tennis, support tennis.

I just didn't think I would be seeing a clay court tournament where Roddick is still in it and Nadal is out.   -   Dallas -  31 May, RG 2009

Played last night with Scott against Matt F. and MC.  We got em 6-4, 6-2.................this score sounds familiar?  Scott played very solid with flashes of near perfection and I was a bit happier with my play than I have been recently.  Not great but solid.  Scott layed down the details in his journal.

So, sure enough, CR called me at 10pm to ask me to sub tomorrow from 12-2pm.  With rain in our forecast, and it fitting into my schedule, not to mention it being free..........I had to accept.  I need to go and just have fun because otherwise I will be greatly let down.....potentially.

I would have snagged it no questions asked if I was you!

My elbow is a little achy from all the tennis, I will hold off trying to play until tomorrow.

Played Sat afternoon with Tom W. against Bill P. and Big Pimpin'.  We got em' pretty good, 6-3, 6-1 I think.  Tom played very solid so I didn't have to do much.  We broke them fairly easily and often and Tom fought through some very tough service holds.  It was a fun match!
