Today our GCTA (Greater Cols Tennis Assoc.) team won 2-1.  We won cts 1 & 2 and defaulted 3.

osu and I won 1 & 2.....The 2 guys we played were proly 1 strong 4.0 & 1 avg 3.5.  The 2 guys jeffro and Charlie played were probably both somewhere in the 3.5 - 4.0 range.  I don't know why they were playing us in the open division when there are 3.5 and 4.0 divisions available  But all 4 of the were class acts.

Afterwards we played a practice set....jeffro-charlie beat osu and I 7-6 in a tb.

That last set was not great.  I got broke with a mediocre service game and started a bit slow while Jster was on.  Then I got my return going and Jster struggled a bit when we struggled to break Chuck H in 2 tough multiple duece games.  Regardless, we still got it to a TB and I missed a tough low volley from Jeffro, hit a mediocre return, and then some.  I was not ON early in the set nor extremely well in the TB.  That sucked...................good practice though.  How is the tire feeling Jster and what tennis do you have planned for the next couple days?  Some rest days I expect?

The paw's not too bad.  I actually may give me neighbor jeffro a call and see if he wants to drill again tomorrow.  It's more nagging than anything.  

The last set was good.  Charlie's fh was lethal and jeffro is playing real well so I would have loved to have played them 2 out of 3.  That's what I really need (more than a 1 & 2 match against inferior comp).

This morning I drove over icy unplowed streets to get to some indoor courts for a soft-impact game on dirt. But, it was great to be hitting a tennis ball again.
I'm feeling very tennis-deprived these days.
