Played last night with VIC against MC and BK!  We won the 1st set 6-2 with nice serve holds and great returning from both of us!  
We lost the 2cnd set 6-0......holy s**te a bagel????????????  It was a fast set where we lost some chances that we shouldn't have!  We had them down 15-40 on one of their service games and had 40-0 on one of VIC's service games and of course lost both, to name a few of the 2cnd set issues for us!  
We pulled out the match with a 6-4 3rd set again with stellar returning and good service holds!  We had a match point at 5-3 when MC was serving and he hit a shot that I did not think he could really get to and come up with what he did!  VIC served it out at 5-4 though to get it 6-4!  Good stuff!

And, if you were wondering Scott, VIC returned like a beast especially in the 1st and 3rd sets!

He talked a little about the match.  He said his shoulders were tired from carrying you, I told him I know hot it feels when playing with you...

In all seriousness, he said you guys played well in the first set and just lacked concentration in the second set.  He said you picked up nicely for the 3rd set.  Then we just talked string.  he wants to toy with starting to string his racquet looser and looser.

I have actually been thinking the same thing as I could use some power and proly have some control to give to get the power.  I also would love to do anything I can to alleviate elbow problems!

nice.  I saw some old looking shots from Jamesdster Saturday, but then only followed up by some of the nastiest 5.0 shots ever.  His forehand is friggin unreal.  You cannot read it, you cannot even try to respect it.  You think he is going cross court with that nasty dipper and he kills it up the line.  You think he is going up the line he rolls a dipper so nasty you wonder if you should try 3.0 tennis or something.  And just because you might have guessed right doesn't mean crap.  Even if you guess right you still might not make it to the ball.  And if you do he has so much action on the ball moving away from you there is no guarantee you will get the ball back.  Hell, if you do he will just spank the ball into the opposite side of the court.  Bastard...

Speaking of such.  I started to read his toss and service motion very well last Thursday night.  There is just a slight difference right before he hits the ball with his toss and how the racquet approaches the ball.  I was feeling pretty good with reading his serve...  The biatch about it is that even though I was there for the serve I still couldn't handle his nastiness.  Once again, Bastard!

Scott - thanks for not mentioning the 18 times I hit off the frame or the fact that I never moved my feet.  And speaking of forehands, that one return you hit where you moved in, caught it on the rise and just absolutely SMOKED a forehand down the alley, that was the best forehand I have ever seen you hit.  That was unreal.  I felt sorry for the poor guy at the net who it whizzed past.  

Buckeye, my lefthandedness is what I use to make up for a lack of talent.  If I were right handed, and if I were short (can't get enough serves in as it is) I am convinced I would never win a match.

Jamesdster.  That forehand was a return off of Dick's first serve.  I was trying to mess with Sims as we were already playing a 3rd set for fun.  I did beat the hell out of that forehand.
