I have heard rumor that I get to play Jster tonight.  And, right when he is really trying to improve his game and playing against 5.0's?       I think I'll need some aspirin for this one!   :rofl_2:

Good thing our hitting session yesterday was so darn good, you should be feeling like a 6.0.  Oh wait, we were two cows running around yesterday.  Never mind...
Good Luck on the Court!!!

I need more than some aspirin.  Well, at least my poor performance didn't expend much energy so my body feels physically better than if I would have had a true battle.

In other action, Pimpin was up 6-2 in the super breaker against Jason G and lost 11-9.  Poor pimpin.  How many code violations would that dude (JG) get per match if officiated? :rofl_2: :rofl_2:

Played against Jster last night and he whooped me............6-3, 6-1!  Ouch!  Thank you sir,may I have another?  I am pretty sure he apologised to me at the end of it!?  Thats how ugly it was.  I was ashamed at my lack of fight in this match.  For about 6 games we were even although it didn't feel like it.  Jster was serving me and groundstroking me off the court.  Nothing felt right at all.  Jster was making shots to places where I was in trouble constantly.  I mentally checked out of the match as Jster continued to serve huge and hit very solid shots.  Ugh!

ONE bad match!  Your results in the singles league have been very impressive so don't let this one get ya down.  Shoot, you took BB to 7-6 6-3.  That right there shows what you're capable of.

Tennis has not been fun for me the past few times out.  I seem to lack the energy, focus, and intensity necessary for being competitive.  The crazy thing is I am starting to not care about it.

The cure will be if it's you and me vs the field at the tourney in 7 days.  Although we totally suck as a doubles team for whatever reason  :rofl_2:

When is the deadline for entry into this tourney?  My brother's family is likely not coming to town so there is a chance I can play.

Played last night with Joe M. against Scott and VIC.  We played under the lights as we got out late and that proved to be a bit trying.  Maybe that is what caused the spotty play at times.  I was pretty comfortable with my play and my attitude except for being unable to control my anger with other attitudes on the court.  Anyway, their were still some solid points and good play so it was a good match.  They got us like 4-6, 4-6 maybe.

If I can hear what you say from across the court then it can drive me nutz but if I can't hear it then no harm from my perspective.  The 1st set was bad and the 2cnd set was perfectly fine!

I lost a really tough match to BB last night at 2-6, 6-3, 9-11!  I had trouble locking in with focus and discipline in the 1st set but a calm took over late in the 1st set and carried me through nicely in the 2cnd set.  The 3rd set TB could have gone either way.  The difference in my play from the 1st set to the other 2 sets was night and day.  Sometimes I come out missing that high level focus and I swing away with poor results.   The 2cnd set I calmed down, hit more efficient serves and groundies and started to get some errors out of BB.  Good stuff!  I was glad to be able to put some nice tennis together again.

You played great.  All the points were well played, mostly from the baseline, you were keeping the ball deep with good pace.  I  enjoyed watching your match from my court since I didn't have anything else to do.

Played in a tourney with Jster over the weekend.  Started Friday evening against 2 high school kids.  We hit balls to them and still beat them 6-0, 6-0.  They were very good about it all.  They didn't seem as awkward as I felt back when I took those kinds of beatings in tournies.
