(1/3) > >>

Babblelot:
This is your last chance this year to get your hands on some hardware, be it the USO title or the ATP Champions Race title, or both! Having played the previous slams is not a pre-requisite: it's open to all comers.

ATP Champions Race thru Wimbledon

1. Tennis4U................1397    :winner:   RG
2. Charlie...................1369
3. kittens....................1190
4. abcdefg...................944      :winner:   AO
5. Babblelot..................911
6. blackgirl....................707
7. suzy4hand.................547
8. jackal........................486     :winner:   W
9. CTaylor87..................368

picks are due by 8:00pm ET. I have a lot of stuff to do before my flight...  I won't be around to update standings until Saturday.

How To Play
1. Pick your 8 QFists true/according to the draw (see PDF link below) and rank them C,F,SF,SF,QF,QF,QF,QF
2. Regardless of a player's result, he's only credited according to your pick for that player.
For example, assume you pick Agassi to reach the QF but he advances to the F. In this
example, Agassi will only be credited for reaching the QF (see scoring below).

Scoring
Grand Slam scoring system will be employed.
C - 200 pts
F - 140 pts
SF - 90 pts
QF - 50 pts
4R - 30 pts
3R - 15 pts
2R - 7 pts
Main Entry - 1 pt
Referring to the example above, Agassi receives 50 pts.

Example (based on 2005 US Open results):
………………..   Picks……….      Pts
Champion….   Roddick…………..      1
Finalist…….   Federer……………      140
SF………….   Hewitt……………..      90
SF………….   Grosjean………….      15
QF………….   Agassi…………….      50
QF………….   Ljubicic……………      15
QF………….   Nalbandian……….      50
QF………….   Hrbaty……………..      30
   Total Points……….      391
Notice, Federer is limited to 140 pts; similarly, Agassi is limitted to 50 pts
So, had Federer been picked to win, he would have received 200 pts;
had Agassi been picked to reach the F, he would have received 140 pts

How To Win
The person with the most Total Points wins.

Tie-breakers
1. Champion pick
2. most picks advancing to Finals
3. most picks advancing to Semifinals
4. most picks advancing to Quarterfinals

Federer losing in the semis to Haas?    I will laugh myself nuts if you actually end up right on that one.
