Davenport and Morariu lost in the finals to Kuznetsova and Molik. Morariu was the girl diagnosed with cancer a while back. She had a lot of player support, supposed to have a great attitude. This was her first slam final since being diagnosed.
Congrats to all 4 of them for making it to the finals. Molik must be pumped to win the AO, she was close in singles.
