I would like to know how many people beat Agassi in a slam (pre-final) and then went on to win the slam.  He seems to really take it out of people when he plays them.  Anyone want to do some research?

Research???  That's too much like work and it's the WEEKEND!!!
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

2004:

Federer bt Agassi in the QF. Won the US Open.

1997:

Rafter bt Agassi in the 4th round. Won the US Open.

1993:

Sampras bt Agassi in the QF. Won Wimbledon.

1992:

Courier bt Agassi in the SF. Won the French Open.

1988:

Wilander bt Agassi in the QF. Won the French Open.

It has rarely happened that the player who takes Agassi out goes on to win the Grand Slam tournament. This gives some weight to your theory, Scott.
