I wonder how Safin would of taken a third loss in the finals of the AO.  He would have beat Federer and then lost to a much lesser player.  Of coarse we will never know, and I am sure Safin will storm ahead for quite a while now with some more confidence (we said that after he won the US Open though).

I am anxious to see the next few tournaments for both Federer and Safin.  Who will lose first?

I think injuries had a lot to do with Safin's demise the first time.
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg
