Wilsonboy, I think part of the reason Jamie Foxx sang about her at the ESPY's is sort of a sterotypical usual -- black guys like to see a lady with goods. Serena has the best rack on tour and she's got big booty lol that alone is alluring to black man, usually. Stereotypically, those things dont matter as much to white guys or whatever...so I assume that's why there's such a varried opinion about serena

Good points, Arc. Cultures have different ideals of beauty, and that has certainly been played out on this board. At the same time, the drooling over teenage girls is a little funny.

What the heck are you talking about?  If I say I find Serenastein hideous there is always some genius who is going to say I'm racist.  When I make a reference to liking the looks of another tennis players of color (trying to head of these totally unfair comments) I'm lumped back into the 'pervasive' just don't get it crowd???  I guess I'm supposed to (1) love serena, or (2) just say nothing about her, or (3) say what I think and accept the consequences knowing full well certain comments WILL be made that it is not possible to refute.

I made a mistake with the Stevenson comments.  I do think shes good looking (but a lousy tennis player) but this in no way proves I'm not racist, I do understand that.  But Serenastein is a dog with a personality to match.  She's a great tennis player though...I guess I'll now forever be thought of as racist on this board.

As for the drooling over teenagers...Well, Anna isn't a teenager and she's still the hottest female tennis player and she's not even a player anymore (that's how hot she is).

BTW, I too think your post was right on Arc...It's a great big world full of all kinds of people, looks and preferences.  What I find attractive won't be the same as Joe Blow  or even my own best friend, for that matter.

Here we go again.  Most white guys only seem to care about blond hair.  If if the woman is ugly as sin and as flat as a board, as long as she has blond her, they love her.  Let's face it.  Maria S. has long and stringy blond hair and is so damn flat chested that she looks awful in most clothes.  But the guys still love her.  I don't get it.

I realize that everyones opinion of beauty is different, as well it sould be.  I, in my wildest dreams can't fathom anyone seeing Serena as pretty but hey it's personal taste and on that note I can't fathom anyone not seeing Anna as a beauty but yet I even know guys who don't find her attractive...

You totally missed the point and clearly don't understand what racism is. And LOL @ you trying to earn brownie points by randomly picking another tennis player of color. As far as I'm concerned, you're not a racist. You're just annoying with no concept of awareness.
