Malisse ends long wait for title

Xavier Malisse finally won his first ATP Tour title with victory over Jiri Novak at the Millennium International Championships in Delray Beach.

The Belgian, who had previously played in six finals without success, won 7-6 6-2, had to recover from 5-2 down in the first set.

"It feels awesome - I've never had this feeling before because I always lost," said Malisse.

"This is my first and hopefully I can get some more."

The third seed had been a runner-up at the Florida tournament in 1999 and 2001.
Good Luck on the Court!!!

I always thought this guy would amount to a pretty good player but it hasn't seemed to materialize.  Maybe this will be the boost he needs.
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg
