Mat doesn't need your "thanks".

He asked for your reply to define "troll" and you never did. That mey be why he would silence you.....because of your attitude.

I was  shocked he even asked what I meant.  I was hoping he would take it as a joke.  He did not.  Never my intention to have any 'attitude' one way or another.

That board just didn't have much traffic, so I'm kind of glad Mat chose to shut it down.  There were some epic pissing contests on there apparently that I never got involved with.

He was seriously discussing matters of importance when you made that "Joking" remark.
Obviously, he thought it was inappropriate, poor judgement, and badly timed.

So did I! :no-no:
I'm not going to take any crap

Don't you get it Dog?
Mat gave you a chance to reply, and when you didn't, he blocked you out!

He probably figured that you would come up with another, (what he called, "inane" remark).

I guess I have to post my lewd comments about WTA players here now.  ;)

I would say goodbye to Mat and thank him, but he has suspended my posting privileges.  Guess he didn't think my joke about 'trolling' was very funny.

I find it hilarious that you were banned from a board existing no more. :shut-up:

By the way, your trolling remark was spot on and typical of the sarcastic humor you've been displaying over the years. :worthy:

Like I said, I was baffled at the reply, and when it was clear he didn't take it the way I intended I decided to drop it.  Mat had the option to 'let it slide'.  He chose not to.  That's his perogative.

The bottom line is that I couldn't be a moderator any more than anyone else.  Mat had a business decision to make.  I needed to get out of the way when it was clear my post wasn't being taken as intended.

I will miss RY and appreciate Mat for providing it.   I'm sorry to see it go and am glad that many have migrated over here.

Now about Maria Sharapova's stalking of me...

You want her number?  Maybe if you call her over and over she'll be too busy with you and will leave me alone.  ;)

You still don't get it dog.
Mat gave you the opportunity to explain your remark, "can moderators troll".
It's hard to believe that you, of all people, with your wit and candor, was "baffled". Mat's choice to silence you was the better prerogative because he thought you wouldn't let it slide. (As shown by this feeble attempt to explain your actions.)
Do you get it now? I would rather not continue with this subject, so please, as you say, "let it slide".

Quote from: "The Dog"

You are taking this WAY too seriously.

And you are taking it too frivolously.

Check out this scenario;

You are on a sinking ship.
The captain is trying to organize the crew to save the ship.
He's asking for help from the crew.
You step up to the captain and ask;
Can the crew drill holes in the lifeboats?

The captain asks you to explain that remark.
You don't respond.

Would you expect the captain to wait for you to continue with that attitude?
He did the right thing by throwing you overboard. ://

I know it's just a website.
Which Mat furnished, nourished, Administered and was trying to save.

You come on and make a lousy remark, then call it a "joke".
You never made an attempt to reply when Mat asked you to.

Don't you realize how inane your question was?

In the end you are here now (which I am very pumped about) fresh beginnings.  You can feel free to "troll" this site all you like.  It is here for anyone and everyone to do as they wish.  Except hack into.  :)

Encyclopedia of Scott Baker:
Copyright:  2005
Disclaimer:  Any persons coping pages out of this forum without written permission will be forced to stand on a tennis court blind folded while Jamesdster hits serves at you.

Troll:  (Tro'll)  (Tr-oll)

Def 1:  To browse one's forum without posting, but rather reading and enjoying posts.

Def 2:  To browse one's forum in a bad mood and posting without offending anyone.

Def 3:  Short man with hunch back, similar to what Scott Baker will look like in 40 years.

Used in a sentence:  Tennis4you trolled his forum contently.

2nd disclaimer:  Do not drag me into this one, I am an inocent bi-stander.    I know you are all very mature and friendly posters which is why it suprises me that RY shut down, but again, fresh start here.  I would just leave this one alone and let it fade a-w-a-y.
Good Luck on the Court!!!

Yo! Scott,

That definition is a whole lot of bulls**t!

That'sthe way a troll would define it.

"troll" as defined in Amnerican Heritage Dictionary.....
A supernatural creature of Scandinavian folklore, variously portrayed as a friendly or mischievous dwarf or as a giant, that lives in caves, in the hills, or under bridges.

Disclaimer: Among other definitions.
I'm not going to take any crap
