I'd have to say the serve and volleyer because I love hitting passing shots and lobs, and my return of serve is getting pretty good.

I have to say an all courter, as you can play well everywhere with this technique, although I am a baseliner, I want to be an all courter.

I would rather play against someone I can beat - which would be the serve and volleyer with no groundies because as soon as I can get a proper return and enter a "rally" i can finish the points easily either by playing the point or volleying myself. or I Can just pass him. What are you going to do against a really consistent baseliner to finish points and ensure victory? he'll get everything back and you'll beat yourself eventually. and an all court player is the most dangerous and obviously you wouldn't want to play him. that is if you care about winning. if not I'd take on an allcourter because its more fun.

I think I would rather play a backboard player. I think that in some ways, I am a backboard player myself b/c I usually tend to win the really long rallies with an error from my opponent. I think it just feels better when you outlast someone.
