I checked out the match stats for his Aussie Open Juniors win, and his serve is a dog. He needs to add some freakin' pace to that thing because a top 100 pro is going to eat that shiznick up.
And I'm still thinking he's going to sprout up to 6'2" by the time he's 19.
Really, if you think about it, a 15 year old losing to Ginepri 6-2, 6-2 is encouraging. Maybe Hewitt could have beaten him at age 15... and maybe Agassi... but maybe nobody else.
He's the youngest number 1 junior ever. Tons of potential. It's just a matter of if any of his shots are going to develop into a real pro weapon.
BUT, even without weapons Rios made it to number 1. If Young is that type of player -- one with just an uncanny court sense and incredible shot making ability -- he could be top 10 without a preemptive weapon.
I'm anxious to see him develop.
