I think she was frustrated by her million double faults.

Yeah, it was the racquet's fault...

Holy crap!  She did a number on that racquet.  I heard she was not happy about something today, but I didn't have time to read the article.
Good Luck on the Court!!!

I've met people like Serena, but they were like crappy players who were too inexperienced to have a realistic understanding of their own games.

Like, you know, the crappy player who thinks they should have won when in actuality they lost to somebody who was clearly the superior player.

Not that Serena loses a lot but she seems to think that she should be playing out of her frickin' mind and destroying people in every single point.

She's amusing like that.

Well I honestly fell out of my computer chair laughing my butt off at the sight of that tennis racquet next to her!

She's such a drama mama but I love her antics. Gives me a laugh everytime.

Female Marat Safin in the running, Serena really is.

How did she manage to do that to her racket?  Check out her biceps.  I think she can pretty much destroy whatever she pleases.

If she had used her thighs she would have vaporized it, so it must have been the arms.

T4U and Jamesdster--too funny!

Is Serena still trying to claim that she doesn't do any gym work? I remember she and Venus kept claiming this when they first "appeared" on the scene. They said they just practiced their tennis. If that was the case, they were practicing with rackets shaped like weights. Gotta give the girl credit; she's definitely in shape!

Serena doesn't workout in the gym and Scott isn't an advertisment for caffein.

She said she doesn't work out?  I would say that is a load of crap if that is true.

Yeah, TF, she and Venus both said it. Saw them interviewed way back when they were first making their presence felt and heard them with my own ears. Wouldn't have believed it otherwise. That's why I asked if they, particularly Serena, were still trying to make that claim. I rather doubt that she's trying to pull that one off anymore, though.

I think I will start carrying a badly-smashed racquet in my bag and putting it out there for "effect."

uhh, anyone know where I can get a smashed racquet?

lol.  I have thought about going to a store and buying some cheap $15.00 racquet and keeping it my bags for those times you feel like you want to break something.  Never good to break an expensive racquet.

What a great idea, Dag!!! Since you're new in town, you could really scare the crap out of the local suburbanites! Be sure to get a rub-on tattoo, too.
