It's an okay article.  I like Serena's catwoman outfit as well as Hingis's fashion sense.  I'd agree with all of his other assessments.  Why didn't this guy show pictures of good fashion sense?

Personally, I don't like men's collection for nike unless andre wears it.  He's the only player who makes Nike look good.  They have some good stuff but it only makes up 15-20% of their overall stock.  Their shoes are hella expensive yet tear so easily.

I'd say Adidas, Sergio Tachinie, or Diadora have the best tennis clothing.

I didn't mind the first one they showed Serena in, and I thought the Hingis one was perfectly fine, as well as Borg's.  But some of the others cracked me up, must have been the commentary.

Anne White's bodysuit - at WIMBLEDON of all places - trumps all.

The white outfit was funny since they wouldn't allow the outfit because the neckline was to low.  :)

I liked Venus' outfit, but I remember watching the tournament and hoping it wouldn't fall.  :shut-up:

Yeah. Maybe I'm too easily distracted visually (I occasionally get totally sucked into the rolling banner at the bottom of ESPN's screen!), but I DO get distracted when players of either gender wear something a bit bizarre (IMO) or when they are tugging, pulling, adjusting their clothing, hats, etc.

I'd rather just watch the tennis; keep your fashion statements for AFTER the tourney!

I liked Serena's Cameroon outfit at the time. It was fun, besides more or less a one-time occasion. However now it seems the Nike people have her making a fashion show of every slam.

But the big question is: whatever happened to the biker shorts? Andre wasn't the only one to wear some under the "real" shorts. At the time, it was said it wasn't just a fashion statement but helped kept the muscles warm.

I do not mind not seeing the biker shorts  :)

I am with Grey on this, I too would rather see the fashion shows after the tourneys.  I did not like it when Serena wore funky stuff to tournaments and was losing matches I did not think she should have.  Makes you think she is spending too much time on other things rather than tennis (her perogative obviously)  But if she starts winning slam every year I say wear what you want to wear yo!

I sat behind Rene Richards at a tournament once so she/he is out of the question. I'll go with Gabby.
