Age (if you dare tell)
« on: February 11, 2005, 09:38:54 AM »
Ok....a few days ago I asked everyone where you are from.  If I were smarter I would've asked this then, but no one who ever watched me strategize on court ever accused me of being smart....so, would you like to volunteer your age?  The ladies of the forum are excused from this exercise if you wish to be.
 :a)
I am 46 years old.  There, now when you see a post from me you can visualize an old, hunched over, bifocal wearing, hobbling around the court on 1 good leg, washed up tennis player.....but extremely handsome for my age <cough>  :blues-brothers:

I know Scott is something like 30 going on 20 and looks 17.
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

lol, I ran into someone at Home Dept the other day who recongized me from 1994 when I worked at a Restraunt, she used to work there too.  So needless to say, I can indeed still be mistaken for a college student (and sometimes people ask me what college I go to), so I do look young.

I turn 30 tomorrow.  uh oh!
Good Luck on the Court!!!

I'm 34, I've been playing tennis on and off for 20 yrs and it's starting to take it's toll on my body. It's a good thing I'm in decent shape, otherwise I'd be on a wheelchair about now. Too bad we can't order new body parts, like for your car

Good Luck on the Court!!!

Just turned 56 end of January. Still have a good set of wheels, even with blown achilles tendon in 1999.  In fact, I'm hitting around 3:00 today, sunny 33 degrees!

Jimbo

You sound like me as far as not needing perfect weather to go outdoors and knock a few around.  But it is so hard to find people as crazy as us to practice with.  Why don't you move to Ohio so I can have a practice partner?

Well, well ... we have a birthday boy.  Have a great 30th year, Scott.

I'm 42, but I look 24 (I stay out the sun).  People think my son (22) is my boyfriend.

Here's a song for T4  :uh:

Good Luck on the Court!!!

Kungpao, honey, don't go to Tech! Try going to a GOOD university! Gig 'em, Aggies! Where the heck are you located anyway? I'm about 90 miles north of Amarillo. Yep, we spit across the state line into Oklahoma for fun on the weekends.

Okay, to the age question...I'm 39. As a matter of fact, I will always be 39. I decided the year I actually turned 39 that I wasn't going to have anymore birthdays so now I just celebrate the anniversary of my 39th. I refuse to divulge just what the number of anniversaries is, however.
