Okay well, my season is over now. I played number two singles and number two doubles again this year. I went 8-2 in singles, and 9-1 in doubles so not too shabby. I earned second team all district honors (Six players to a team). Because of my good season, I got to play in the district tournament, which is a singles individual tournament and doubles tournament. It has nothing to do with the team. The finalists, and third place winner of the singles and doubles district tournament go on to regionals and then states if they make it that far. Unfortunately I had a crap draw and drew the state runner-up from last year and went down 6-0, 6-3. Then in doubles my partner and I made it to the semi-finals but lost in the third place match so we didn't get to go to the regional doubles tournament. My team went 8-2 overall in regular season play, so we finished in 3rd place and made regionals, but we lost in the first round to the state runner-up team from last year, and the favorited team to win it all this year. Overall it was a successful season, just a really bad post season draw in every aspect except for the doubles tournament.
