Sorry East Coast!!!
« on: February 11, 2005, 10:58:30 PM »
To all of you on the east coast that I probably just woke up with a terrifying scream I deeply apologize.  As I sit here and work at 12:01 a.m. Saturday morning I just realized I am now officially 30.  So much for the twenties.  Hey, is my back starting to hurt?
Good Luck on the Court!!!

So THAT was the eerie sound I just heard. Didn't sound much like a scream; more like a moan so your back MUST be starting to bother you. Damn, I forgot about the time change! I was going to post you a Happy Birthday at midnight MY time...if I was still awake, that is (us old folks need our sleep you know). Oh, well, happy birthday anyway, you young whippersnapper.

Cool.  I checked the IP to see who it was, since people get logged out from time to time, but apparently you have never posted from that IP.

Thx!!!

BTW, the knees are next; then the mind. You'll be lobbing 'em right into your opponent's racket before you know it. THEN you'll just flat-out be missing shots because a pretty butterfly flew by and your mind wandered. Actually, I could be wrong...there may be a tie between the knees and your reaction time going.

pfft, the left knee has been bad since 1994.  I wear a knee brace and it feels just fine.  Without it, well, different story!

Hmmmm, guess I've never posted from home; just from work. Oops, did I just say that out loud. Ahem, ahem, you must be wrong. I would never check out websites at work, much less do any posting.    Surely you just made some terrible mistake or overlooked my home IP.  :)~

Okay, so one knee is bad. How do you feel about butterflies?

A very happy birthday to you, Scott, and many happy returns.

As a "nearly" senior citizen, I'll give you one piece of advice:

Take care of that body NOW, or the "pay later" part will be... er... shall we say "unpleasant."

It's YOUR day; do everything you like to do and ENJOY!

Regards,
Greyhaven

Hey, Grey, so how are you feeling? How's the healing process going? It sounded so much like something I would do that I can totally empathize.  :bye1:

They come with your "rank".  Ranks are assigned by # of posts.  They go like this.

New Poster    1 posts
Tennis Player    5 posts
Tennis Enthusiast    10 posts
Tennis Addict    25 posts
Tennis Pro    50 posts
Tennis God    75 posts

The further up you go in posts the more stars you get.  :)

But there can be additions, right? (For example, once people reach 100 or 500 or 1000).

Re: the butterflies...nothing to do with being nervous. I meant that you'll be easily distracted because your mind wanders. See, you just turned thirty and already you're missing things.  ;>)
