Flaming Hell, before the Proof readers pop on I mean Massa

I was just about to say, you're obsessed with tennis players, you're even mentioning one in an F1 thread. Great stuff for Hamilton!

And he wins his 1st Grand Prix........The tennis had finnished and I could sit back and enjoy watching Lewis win (1st Rafa and then Lewis......Great day for me)  :)

I didn't catch the race. Who got all the Top 5 places?

Shame on you for not watching  ;-()

OK:
1) Hamilton
2) Heidfeld
3) Wurz
4) Kovalainen (spelling??)
5) Raikkonen

 :)

Thanks for that! Where were Alonso and Massa??? Spellings good, but one thing I did see in the race was Kubica's horrible crash!!! Is he all right?

Kubica's crash: Broken Leg ONLY (thankgod), it was a horrid crash and very lucky to escape with just a broken leg  :)

Alonso and Massa - bad day at the office (happens to the best) Alonso seemed to like a certain piece of grass and it did him no favours
I never thought he would win 4 French Opens - Roger Federer on Rafa

My dad says if Kubica's crash had happened 5 years ago, he wouldn't have walked out of it.

Hamilton has pole in the US GP  :) He pipped Alonso by 0.169 seconds.

I wonder what Alonso will find to moan about if Hamilton wins again?

There was a picture in the recent Sports Illustrated magazine of the Kubica crash.  It was insane with pieces of the car flying everywhere!   :(     The caption said he only had an ankle sprain and a slight concussion.

Cheers Alison, interesting reads. I'm not quite sure Lewis can believe his own success, while Alonso certainly can't  :)

The bookies agree with you: he's 10/11 on with them.

Hopefully he wont get too nervous as he gets closer, but nothing has fazed him yet, so I agree with you: he's the favourite.

I dont think he be to disappointed, when he thinks he was 10pts up.Now after this race he leads all by 14 pts,id be very happy @ this.Hamilton before the F1 started could not have wished for a better start in F1 in first year.Some-where im sure his car wont be 100% right or some other or hits him.But he will still be the man in front of F1,it amazing what he done so far.

It's brilliant what he's done, I'm just saying it's a measure of how great he's been that I expect him to win each race :worthy:

Well done Lewis anyway.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but has Hamilton ever finished a Grand Prix outside of the Top 3 yet?

Didn't think so, very impressive record. How do you think he's going to do in his home race here at Britain.

If round the first bend ok,he has as good chance as anyone to win the race.qualifying & who gets pole should be a big factor.McLaren im sure will come back fighting after Ferrari great rusults @ Magny-Cours.Im looking forward 2 this lol,can not come quick enough :))
