I used their song in my new tennis montage.... In case u haven't watched it yet...

it's in the tennis discussion section.

I'll definitely check it out, now. Seeing one of your montages is good for all  :)~   But Linkin Park adds something new. I'll go there now (Oh, I hope I pick the right one... I'd hate to have to sit through one unecessarily)   :)~ :)~

Sooo... I was wrong again.   :)

Those were fantastic wilson. You know I was expecting 20mins of Serena followed by 10min of Venus. What a pleasant surprise, and very well done.

LOL why? Did my last video come across like that?
Actually, after I finnished the video the first time, it did have too much of them. lol. I had to cut it down. ;)

But yeah...
ANd the weird thing is that that song came out in like 2000, but I didn't hear it until like last month. So it's still new to me.

I also like a littl bit of green day... but that's only b/c the Williams sisters love them.lol... I like vintage Blink 182 as well but I don't think they are considered grunge.

Sorry, friend, but I stopped looking at your stuff long ago   :)~   :rofl_2: :rofl_2:  I just expect it all to be All Williams-All-The-Time. I hope I haven't missed too much good stuff   :(

Blink is one of those "pop-alt" bands that were in vogue in the late 1990s. "Third Eye Blind" is another. At the time, I liked 3rdEB, but now think they're silly.

LOL I wouldn't be so selfish to just do Venus and Serena... that's boring...

But anyways, I have to admit that my rock knowledge is fairly limited since I only recently got into it like 2 years ago. lol

But Do you listen to any other genres of music? Do you like any artists that aren't rock?

Beastie Boys
DEVO
Foo Fighters
Interpol
Kings of Leon
Moby
Modest Mouse
New Order
Pearl Jam
Red Hot Chili Peppers
REM
Smashing Pumpkins/Zwan/Billy Corigan
*The Smiths/Morrissey*
They Might Be Giants

I've always said that I was raised, not by my parents, but by Morrissey. People describe him as the "Most Depressing Person Ever". His lyrics are absolutely phenomenal and Johnny Marr, guitar, wrote incredible rifts. Their sound was truly unique--still is.

Morrissey will never be mistaken as someone who possess a voice that's easy on the ears. The fact that he "can't sing" some might say, sort of adds to their mystic intrigue. But you'd definitely have to get used to his voice. The Smiths are more like REM than Pearl Jam.

Here's a glimps inside Babblelot's soul   ;-()

If the voice grates on your ears, listen to the music. It's very busy, but it's very subtle too. Then try to grasp the lyrics. The man wears it all on his sleeve. Don't give up, the song has a nice bridge at about 3:45, and after that the music moves in other directions. By 5:15 you hooked, then it gets back in your face at 5:50.

How Soon Is Now
-The Smiths

I mean I recognize the artist, but I couldn't tell you what song any of them sing.lol
I'm a bit more on the mainstream...

But I do like artists like James Morrison...

Ah, the King's Singers may not appeal to that age.  They're a classical vocal group, although they sing everything from pop to sacred (and everything in between).
