LOL I wouldn't be so selfish to just do Venus and Serena... that's boring...
But anyways, I have to admit that my rock knowledge is fairly limited since I only recently got into it like 2 years ago. lol

They Might Be Giants
I've always said that I was raised, not by my parents, but by Morrissey. People describe him as the "Most Depressing Person Ever". His lyrics are absolutely phenomenal and Johnny Marr, guitar, wrote incredible rifts. Their sound was truly unique--still is.
Morrissey will never be mistaken as someone who possess a voice that's easy on the ears. The fact that he "can't sing" some might say, sort of adds to their mystic intrigue. But you'd definitely have to get used to his voice. The Smiths are more like REM than Pearl Jam.
Here's a glimps inside Babblelot's soul

If the voice grates on your ears, listen to the music. It's very busy, but it's very subtle too. Then try to grasp the lyrics. The man wears it all on his sleeve. Don't give up, the song has a nice bridge at about 3:45, and after that the music moves in other directions. By 5:15 you hooked, then it gets back in your face at 5:50.
