Are you in the Bay Area Pacer?  It's bad across the country but $4.50 is horrible. 

Sounds like the California gas blues to me.

Time to get the bicycle out!  $4.50 is unreal!

The other thing is the price that business' can charge for mileage.  I do not think they are keeping up well.  Right now we charge $0.505 per mile.  I think it is something the government(?) updates per year.  But at this rate of increase they need to update it more often.

lol, too funny!  Best I had ever seen was 88 cents back in 97 or 98 or so?  I was paying for my gas then too.

My company just went up to $0.50 per mile at the beginning of April.    Before that we were at $0.38!

$4.49 in Chicago. Have I mentioned     that Chicago transit hasn't raised their fares in 3 years. Looks like there's a lot of rich folk (did I say rich folk, I meant to say idiots) here in the city with $$$ to burn.

statistically, it should peak out at around 4.80 or max $5 at which point the population (us) will take drastic measures to decrease use. So .. you know. The dollar should also get stronger by the end of the year with the stock market going up. I don't think it'll cross 5.

I paid 4.19 today, I guess it's not too bad seeing some of the other prices but it left my wallet kind of thin.

I paid $3.86 yesterday but I was below "E" when I filled up my 14 gallon tank.  I hit $58.06.

We jumped to $4.09.  I think that is the first time I have seen my gas station jump over $4.09.  I bought gas the other day though, so I haven't had to pay that yet.

My cheap station near-by was at $3.81 just yeasterday and then bam..........same day it went up to $4.09!        I continued my drive towards home and the gas station out in the sticks was at $3.79 but had a line down the street coming out of it.  I didn't need gas but will have to fill up today or tomorrow.

what was the prize one year ago?? Spain and France went on strike this past month because the prize is very expensive.
Thank God there are no mountains in this island and I used my bycicle to go everywhere.
