Gas was $3.85 yesterday when I drove by on the way home from work.  When I passed the same gas station an hour later on our way to dinner it had bumped up to $4.10 at the same station.  There is no mercy...

I filled up at $3.95 and my Camry, in which I had 1/4 gas in the tank, cost me over $60.00 to fill up!

I was driving my parent's SUV yesterday and was running on low fuel. I saw a place right close to my house for 3.97 but decided to keep going another 4 miles where I knew there were 3 gas stations right around each other and one of them was always very cheap.

Bad idea. I went there, two of the three gas stations were CLOSED!! and the one gas station remaining? he was basically laughing at everyone while charging a nice $4.19 per gallon.

I had no choice, I had to fill up for a 20. So now the gas needle indicator thingy moved from "allright, I am about to stop running if you don't feed me" to "I am going to run out by the time you pull out of this gas station".

We used to call them Marine Corps Cadillacs (they are sleek, black and shiny - at least in the Marine Corps). But most of us have two of them, and they get us around real good (some of us can actually see them without having to suck in the gut).

Oh yeah. I found a brand spanking new Hess gas station that is charging $3.79/gal (while everyone else is $3.99-$4.19).

$3.69 just now!     Lets hope it is a sign of downward moving prices round here!?    I have a serious knack for finding the cheapest in the area!
