I got some gas at $2.88 and was happy about it, how sad is that?  I probably would have wet myself had I seen $2.71.

You'd have to come way up my way to see those numbers.  I was going to note that is one good thing about living way up north here........our gas is a little cheaper along the big highway.

Spent a day in SoCal and it ranged from $3.30 to $3.50. That means they are likely paying $3.70 or so in NoCal.

(BTW, in the Philippines it was 44 pesos/liter. Right now 39 Philippine Pesos = 1 US Dollar)

Today, the Euro peaked to an all-time high > 1.50 against the USD. Expect gas prices to follow suit.

Whereas the Euro to the £ is at the other end of the scale as it has continuously fell over recent months and now sits at just 1.25 Euro's to the £, around a year ago it was about 1.45, four months ago about 1.34.

The cheapest I have seen in my area so far is $2.96 ranging to $3.05 right next door. That's up from when I filled up for $2.79 last week.

I have been on the same side of the net as you so you don't need to tell me that you get gas.  Unfortunately I know all too damn well about that.  Talk about your close encounters of the worst kind!  !

same story as BGT here. 2 weeks ago i filled it up at 2.65, last week at 2.87 and now its hovering around 2.95. It's like 3.09 and such around my house.

Just got back from Ohio (to Mass). I paid 2.89 just outside of Columbus (north), then 3.15 in Pennsylvania, then 3.05 here in Mass. I saw many stations over 3.20 though. LA is over 3.40

For some reason there was a spike in our gas prices just today!  $3.15!
